THRIFTASTIC TRENDING

Like staying stylish and on trend? Like being able to create a high end look, without breaking the bank? If so, I have a fun project for you! I bought this lamp base and shade at a second hand store. When I found them, I saw the diamond in the rough (and let me reiterate the rough part!) This lamp base was dingy and was and utterly unflattering. The lamp shade was just basic and boring, though, it had a good shape to it. I bought a can of spray paint (they come in an array of designer colors now!) and some decorative ribbon. For the low cost of $10, I was able to create a fun, trendy piece, that required very little time and money!
