"Eye" on a Pajama Premiere!!!

Eye for Design will be doing the set design for the Society Girls Pajama Slam Premiere. The posters just came out and I am so thrilled to be a part of this!!!!!!! I will post pictures, after the event!

I love the way a bright, bold wallpaper print can update and refresh a small space!

A few of my favorite things....

After I wrote that header, I now have the music from The Sound of Music, running through my head! LOL! I am absolutely loving Wall Words. There are numerous makers and manufacturers, and a variety of options available. In terms of ease, I have to give a huge thumbs up to Snap peel and Stick. The words can be moved and re-applied, without loosing the ability to adhere. In terms of design, I love the style of Once Upon a Wall. All in all, a very fun, very stylish solution to add a little pizazz to a wall.

PAINT not stain!

I have sung the praises of Rust Oleum so highly, I wanted to post a corresponding picture. This window was PAINTED with Rust Oleum's Kona Brown Gloss paint, not stain. It mimmics the same color created as Bombay Mahogany stain.

EYE FOR DESIGN is estatic to be collaborating with The Society Girls and Fight Chix in a fashion show to benefit under priviledged girls in the Chicago area. Yours truly, will be handling the designs & decorating for the red carpet, the fashion show and the cocktail reception!!!!

Stain....in a spray can!!!????

I am always on the look out for new, efficient products. Having tried and LOVED Rust Oleum's carpet paint, I tend to be open minded when it comes to un orthodox products. Today, I stubled across spray stain. My initial reaction was a cross between..."hmmm...interesting, mixed with doubt" Having now tried it, I like the concept. However, since stain is so messy as is, I recommend this product with caution. The spray is great for hard to reach places. This would be a great product for furniture touch ups! Like most sprays and paints, this too smells awful. Having opened every window, the smell still lingers!

BE-DAZZLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always thought the "Be-dazzler" was a ridiculous infomercial! Today, while hard at work building my website, proofing my business cards & making the business announcements, I had the opportunity to actually use the infamous "Be-dazzler". It pains me to admit it, but it was a lot of fun! My business announcements now have a hint of bling and a dazzling, eye catching flair! Who would have thought! Somebody stop me before I start bedazzling snuggies and distributing them as gifts! LOL!!!
